Cyndi Lauper pays tribute to mother following her death: ‘She may have left this world, but not without leaving her mark’

Cyndi Lauper has paid tribute to her mom Catrine Lauper following her loss of life after battling dementia. 

The Women Simply Need To Have Enjoyable singer, 68, took to Instagram to share photographs of her mom, together with her in her music movies, as she shared the unhappy information together with her followers. 

She wrote: ‘My lovely Mother has handed. She rocked and wrestled with us and was in a number of my movies. It was an honor to work together with her. 

‘I really feel so fortunate that I bought to play with my mother all through my life, each as a woman and as a girl.

‘She could have left this world, however not with out leaving her mark. Thanks, Mother. I like you.’

Cyndi had beforehand revealed that her mom had been recognized with dementia, telling AARP journal in 2016: ‘My mom has slightly dementia. She lives within the current.

Catrine famously appeared in Cyndi’s 1983 music video for Women Simply Need To Have Enjoyable, with Cyndi beforehand talking out in regards to the casting.
