Even the Kardashian kids aren’t exempt from getting told off, as North West found out when she went live on TikTok without mum Kim Kardashian’s permission.
The eight-year-old took to their joint account KimAndNorth – which boasts 2.1million followers – to take the internet on a house tour, while her mum had no clue.
Running around their family mansion with friends, a giddy North showed off her bedroom and a cinema room, as businesswoman Kim lounged in bed on her phone.
Viewers saw everything from North’s pink wallpaper, the contrasting minimalist hallways, and their Christmas decorations.
While showing off their house and chatting to other children, including her brothers and sister – who were just as excited as she was – North announces: ‘Let’s go downstairs, we’ve rented this Sing thing,’ referring to decorations and arts and crafts for the new animated movie, Sing 2.
She was keen to get followers involved, repeatedly telling them: ‘Say yes if you want to see the Sing thing,’ then letting out a mischievous laugh when they did.
The kids took turns showcasing the various cutouts and blowup characters from the film, before one young boy races up close to the camera shouting: ‘North is live, North is live, North you’re live. No, not fair, TikTok live,’ he yells while laughing.
The fun is shorty-lived, though, as North ventured into Kim’s bedroom.
‘Mom, I’m live,’ she giggled, but Kim’s facial expression was far from amused.
Kim can be heard saying to her eldest daughter: ‘No stop, you know you’re not allowed to.’
Of course, the stream quickly ends when North realises she might be in trouble, hurriedly telling viewers: ‘Ok bye,’ just as Kim says: ‘Is she really going live?’ to an unknown female voice, who answers, ‘I don’t know.’
The video was saved and shared by a Kardashian fan page on Instagram, and social media users found it hilarious.
The news page wrote: ‘I hope Kim doesn’t mind this because I have never seen her more relatable than this! I feel like we are getting to see the Kardashians from a new lens and I think it will only impact them positively. As long as North doesn’t expose any family secrets.’
Kim is currently in the midst of a divorce with North’s dad Kanye West, with whom she shares three other children.
The mum-of-four recently filed to be legally declared ‘single,’ despite the rapper’s very public pleas for her to take him back.
