Olivia Wilde declared that she is ‘happier than ever’ amid her rumored budding romance with Harry Styles.

The Booksmart director, 37, was first linked to the Adore You singer, 27, at the beginning of the year, when they were spotted holding hands at a wedding.

She has made sure to keep her private life firmly behind closed doors and, despite being in the audience for most of the former One Direction star’s concerts, is yet to publicly confirm reports of their relationship.

Speaking of the speculation surrounding their close bond, and some of the negativity, she refused to be drawn on the furor but shared her delight at her current situation.

‘I think what you realize is that when you’re really happy, it doesn’t matter what strangers think about you. All that matters to you is what’s real, and what you love, and who you love,’ she told Vogue US without mentioning Harry’s name. ‘In the past 10 years, as a society, we have placed so much more value on the opinion of strangers rather than the people closest to us.

‘I’m happier than I’ve ever been. And I’m healthier than I’ve ever been, and it’s just wonderful to feel that.’

The lovebirds have been linked since meeting on the set of upcoming film Don’t Worry Darling, which is helmed by Olivia and features Harry and Florence Pugh – and is slated for release next September.

Discussing the negative headlines she has been met with since the rumormill first started spinning of their relationship – after her romance with Jason Sudeikis broke down – the OC actress insisted that she has no time for ‘misplaced guilt and shame’ that is being thrust upon her.

‘It’s very easy to control women by using guilt and shame, and I have no time for misplaced guilt and shame. The work I’ve done personally in the last decade has been learning to have a voice, and taking my voice seriously,’ she continued. ‘As you get older as a woman, you put up with less bulls**t.

‘I’m only willing to surround myself with people who are positive, and root for others. I choose kindness. I choose joy.’

And we adore her for it.

Although they have gone to great lengths to keep things low-key in public, Olivia proved that she is definitely a supportive partner as she was seen dancing away at several of Harry’s gigs.

She was even joined by her children, Otis and Daisy – who she shares with Jason – to his San Diego concert with the musician’s mum, Anne.

As well as this, she also showed love for his new beauty Pleasing range, donning a black jumper emblazoned with the logo as she ran errands in LA.

If that’s not total couple goals, we don’t know what is.
