He sings in Arabic as he slices vegetables on the sideboard, where chopped carrots, vinegar and gravy are neatly positioned.
Mohamed then shows two tubes of sauce, one with Arabic writing and another with English wording, to the camera.
As he brings the frying pan into the frame for a close-up, he choruses ‘oh yeah that’s food’, to which Iris replies: ‘Very nice.’
Mohamed then makes a theatrical gesture with his arms and says: ‘Close for now, close please.’ Iris asks ‘close it now?’ before the clip ends.
Commentators on the YouTube video wished the couple well, with one writing: ‘Greetings to you and Iris, may God bless you always.’
Another wrote: ‘I hope that you both had a lovely Christmas day together.’
The Egyptian national showed a different side in another YouTube video where, speaking in Arabic, he takes aim at ‘haters’ – including commentators in the press and on social media – who have emerged since the age-gap love story hit the headlines.
He says: ‘I am Mohamed, the one everyone speaks about, does no one have a job apart from me?’
Mohamed also says: ‘I am a Muslim and I know Allah and I am not in sin.’
One supporter replied: ‘It is your life, live your life and ignore the haters.’

In January 2020, she tearfully told Metro.co.uk how she was ‘skint and alone’ waiting for his arrival as he struggled to secure a spousal visa.
Mohamed arrived in November after being granted a three-year visa to stay in the UK and has moved into her home.
Speaking to Closer magazine ahead of Christmas, Iris said they planned to spend the day in bed and, as she is an atheist and he is a Muslim, they were treating it as a holiday.
She said: ‘We’ll have cheese on toast followed by mince pies and whipped cream, which I’ll eat off his body – I’ve never done that before.
‘We’ll take a break to watch the Queen’s speech but, other than that, you’ll find us between the sheets.’
Iris has said her two children by her first husband, Darren, 54 and Stephen, 55, have expressed concerns about her relationship with Mohamed but insisted that their love is real.
