Protesters storm French mansion linked to Putin and raise Ukrainian flag

Two activists have allegedly stormed a luxurious villa belonging to Vladimir Putin’s former son-in-law and declared it a shelter for Ukrainian refugees.

Pierre Haffner and Sergey Saveliev are accused of breaking into the eight-bedroom seaside residence within the French coastal resort of Biarritz, which is widespread with Russian oligarchs.

They introduced on social media that they'd modified the locks earlier than being arrested by police, studies say.

Kirill Shamalov, 39, the ex-husband of the Russian president’s second daughter Katerina Tikhonova, 35, is believed to be the proprietor.

A person within the video stated: ‘This home was purchased with cash stolen by Putin, by his mafia, from the Russian folks and the peoples oppressed by Putin’s Russia.’
