Man who 'confronted MoD officers with knife' arrested for attempted murder

A person has been arrested on suspicion of tried homicide after two Ministry of Defence law enforcement officials had been confronted with a knife in Westminster.

Police Tasered a person earlier than restraining him in Horse Guards Parade simply earlier than 9am on Financial institution Vacation Monday.

Whitehall, the centre of the UK authorities, has been closed between Trafalgar Sq. and Parliament Sq..

A person, 29, has been arrested on suspicion of tried homicide and possession of an offensive weapon. He stays in custody at a central London police station.

Horse Guards Parade is a big parade floor used for royal parades and ceremonies.

The Metropolitan Police say they are going to work alongside the MoD Police in an investigation.
