Man hands himself in over attack on Polish migrant outside London pub

Detectives have arrested a person over a brutal assault on a Polish migrant who’d solely been in London for an hour.

Kamil Sobala, 31, was assaulted outdoors a pub close to Victoria Coach Station on the night of Saturday, June 18, after asking for instructions.

He claims two males swore, requested the place he was from, then proceded to beat him after he stated he was from Poland.

Kamil was knocked unconcious and was left with blood streaming down his face earlier than being taken to hospital for remedy.

Yesterday night a 33-year-old man handed himself in at a west London police station.

He was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily hurt and was subsequently launched beneath investigation.

The Metropolitan Police stated that whereas the sufferer is Polish, the incident will not be presently being handled as a hate crime.

A 31-year-old Polish immigrant has detailed how he was savagely attacked in a racially motivated assault within moments of arriving in London from Poland. Kamil beforehand informed how he used to reside within the UK in 2013, and after returning to his house nation for some time, determined to maneuver again to London with associates.

He says he arrived at Victoria Station to fulfill them at a pub when he requested for instructions as his cellphone had died.

Following the assault at 7.50pm on Elizabeth Avenue, Kamil says he was ‘shaken’ by the experiene and had turned to ingesting to ‘cease the ache’.

He added: ‘It’s horrible. I’m simply fearful of going to the store I can’t sleep and I’m scared in addition to filled with ache.

‘They punched me till I couldn’t bear in mind something.’
