Man woken at midnight by stranger with box of Crunchy Nut asking for milk

Even probably the most disciplined eaters know what it feels prefer to cave to a late-night pang of starvation.

However few could be pushed additional than a fast raid on the pantry or, at worst, ordering a takeaway.

An unsuspecting house owner discovered the exception to the rule on his doorstep in Swansea this week, and was so baffled he felt obliged to share footage of the weird encounter on social media.

Craig Allen answered a hoop on his doorbell at 12.21am on Wednesday morning to the sight of a wide-eyed man in a beanie hat, armed solely with a field of Crunchy Nut cornflakes.

As he opened the door, the person politely introduces himself earlier than asking: ‘I can’t pinch some milk off you by any likelihood?’

Mr Allen might be heard snapping again: ‘F***off mate.’

The stranger, unbothered by the rejection, apologises earlier than calmly striding away into the evening.

The footage, filmed by Mr Allen’s sensible doorbell, rapidly went viral.

However nobody has been in a position to determine the ethereal stranger or unravel how he ended up in his conundrum.

Mr Allen advised WalesOnline: ‘I don’t know what he would have performed if I had given him some milk, simply scooped it out of the field? I don’t know!’
