A person has died after being tasered throughout a conflict with police in Essex, it has been reported.
Officers have been referred to as to an incident at an handle in Braintree on Monday morning.
They spoke to individuals on the scene to find out the reason for the disturbance.
Throughout a confrontation with a person on the location, officers deployed a taser, and he was then reported to have turned unwell.
Lower than an hour later, he tragically died on the scene regardless of the efforts from the emergency companies, the Essex Dwell reported.
A press release from the drive stated: ‘Officers have been referred to as to reviews of a disturbance at Clockhouse Means, Braintree, at round 11.20am on Monday, November 21.
‘They responded rapidly and spoke with individuals on their arrival to determine the reason for the disturbance and to guard these current.
‘Throughout their engagement with a person on the location they'd been referred to as to in Clockhouse Means, a taser was deployed. The person was reported to have been taken unwell.
‘Regardless of the work of an ambulance crew and law enforcement officials, the person was sadly pronounced lifeless on the scene shortly after 1pm.
‘We have now made a compulsory referral to the Impartial Workplace for Police Conduct (IOPC), as is acceptable in all such instances and the IOPC has confirmed that it's going to examine the incident.’
