A bride saved huge amounts when it came to buying a wedding dress.
The money-savvy shopper bought one secondhand for only $3 (£2.26) at a Goodwill store in Florida, US.
Rachel Connealy, 26, took to TikTok to reveal the full-length silk gown she wore on her wedding day earlier this week.
‘I thrifted this silk dress right after we got engaged and still wore it for the ceremony,’ she wrote for the video showcasing the dress.
It featured draping details and a sheer capelet. But that wasn’t the only outfit she wore on the special day.
Two weeks before, she found another ‘dream wedding dress’ at Goodwill for $5 (£3.77), wearing this one to the reception.
On TikTok she wrote: ‘You never know what you’ll find at the thrift two weeks before your wedding.’
The second dress was a mini cut and had puffy white sleeves with a lace skirt.
All in all, she only spent $8 (£6.04) on her wedding outfits.
The average cost of a wedding dress in the U.S. is $1,631 (£1,231.27) according to Brides.
Rachel not only managed to do it on a budget but pulled in compliments saying she looked like Meghan Markle.
‘Genuinely stunning. Like something out of a magazine,’ one fan said.
‘Loving the minimalist look, also seems expensive af,’ someone else added.
Another wrote: ‘Amazing finds, idk how you did it but they are both so unique & beautiful!’
‘You remind me of gorgeous Meghan Markle here!’ a fan of the dress said.
‘I thought you were Meghan Markle,’ someone else wrote.
Both of her wedding dress videos have nearly 1.5 million views together, showing spending less sometimes gets you more.
