The Sheriff’s Workplace stated it was ‘joyful to report a very good ending to this extraordinarily harmful scenario’.
Lieutenant John Bain, added: ‘We bumped into points with ice breaking apart as we had been rescuing folks.
‘So it’s all the time a really harmful occasion with the chilly water and the climate.
‘And we’re actually grateful that each one the cooperation and teamwork led to a secure rescue.’
