A teenage girl has been arrested in connection with an investigation into the murder of a man.

A lady, 15, has been arrested in reference to a homicide investigation.

The teenager has been detained on suspicion of aiding an offender following the dying of Edward Reeve, 35.

Mr Reeve’s physique was discovered at a property in Heath Highway, Christchurch on January 4.

Two 16-year-old boys – from Christchurch and Bournemouth – had been arrested on suspicion of his homicide on Friday.

Mr Reeve’s heartbroken mum, Jayne Newey, 64, paid tribute earlier this week to her son, who was an area musician and labored in buyer companies. 

She instructed The Solar: ‘I simply don’t imagine it. It doesn’t appear actual. It doesn’t appear honest. He didn’t deserve it when you ask me.’

Saying her son suffered from drug habit, she added: ‘I’ve been suspicious about one thing like this occurring for a very long time.’

A former Tesco colleague named Rupert Myles has described Mr Reeve as ‘so pleasant and chatty’.

In a Fb put up, he added: ‘A really constructive man, you may be missed by everybody who met you.’

Dorset Police is urging locals to return ahead with data following the tragedy.

Detective Inspector Simon Huxter, who's main the investigation, mentioned: ‘We have now continued with our investigation and have been capable of finding out additional particulars.

‘I'm grateful for all the knowledge we have now acquired from the general public to date, however I'm now interesting with reference to a wider timeframe as beforehand given.

‘Subsequently, I urge residents and motorists within the space of Heath Highway to please test any CCTV techniques or dashcam footage from Wednesday December 29 to Tuesday January 4 2022 and to report any suspicious exercise they could have witnessed throughout this time interval.
