A teen born with a situation that made her knee bend backwards can now stroll to high school.

Marie Madeleine, 13, developed the weird incapacity as a toddler. The situation noticed her knee bending the flawed approach and as she grew the issue grew to become worse. 

Marie was pressured to limp to high school every day and infrequently struggled to maintain up together with her friends.

Her household hoped and prayed for a ‘miracle’ and nervous about her leg holding her again from residing a standard lie. 

Fortunately, Marie is now strolling with confidence after a hospital ship docked off the coast of her dwelling nation, Senegal, gave her life-changing surgical procedure.

‘We love God. God has healed me, and His plan for me is to stroll like this now,’ Marie says. 

The problem was attributable to an abnormally tight muscle contracture in her leg. This then made her knee hyperextend backwards.

The limp left her in ache and whereas Marie remained optimistic, her grandmother Adama nervous it might have an effect on her life long-term. 

‘My hope was for her to be like each different woman with a backpack going to high school,’ Adama defined. 

‘However we couldn’t afford surgical procedure, so we simply waited for a miracle.’

Fortunately, a miracle did come. A neighbour advised the household that Mercy Ships, a charity which runs hospital ships, was porting a ship simply 100 miles away.

Her surgical procedure was scheduled rapidly and fortunately, was a hit. 

Within the aftermath, Marie required hours of intense rehabilitation on board the ship to assist her get again on her toes once more, as her knee muscle tissues had not been used correctly for 12 years.

But, Marie powered on and aimed to stroll to her classroom together with her pals as soon as once more. 

A number of months on from her surgical procedure, Marie had sturdy, straight legs and was prepared to go away the ship. 

When requested about her transformation, Marie mentioned: ‘God has healed me.’

Her grandmother Adama added: ‘I'm so blissful to see her going to high school with straight legs. Every thing is okay now!’
