Dwayne Hickman, the star of American sitcom The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, has died on the age of 87.

The actor’s demise was introduced by his publicist, Harlan Boll, who confirmed that he died from problems associated to Parkinson’s illness.

Hickman was at house along with his household on the time of his demise, along with his spouse, Joan Roberts, holding him as he died.

Born in Los Angeles, California on Might 18 1934, he started performing at a younger age, showing in productions together with The Grapes of Wrath in 1939 The Boy with the Inexperienced Hair in 1948.

When he was in his teenagers, he portrayed Chuck MacDonald in The Bob Cummings Present, wanting as much as the titular actor as a childhood idol.

He starred within the sitcom alongside Bob Denver, who performed Dobie’s sidekick, Maynard G Krebs.

Hickman reprised his position as Dobie within the 1988 TV film Deliver Me the Head of Dobie Gillis.
