An unlikely picture of fireside and ice emerged over the weekend as a Nor’easter snow storm swept brutally throughout the US from Virginia to Maine.

A firefighter battling a four-alarm blaze was photographed with frozen strong icicles over his helmet, protecting gear and moustache.

Video footage of the scene confirmed flames popping out of the roof of a Massachusetts dwelling as water from the hearth hoses shaped into ice and icicles.

The unidentified firefighter labored the blaze at a multi-family dwelling on Irving Avenue in Fall River on Saturday night time. The road was coated with not solely water, however ice, based on officers.
