John Cleese has paid tribute to I’m Sorry, I’ll Learn That Once more star Jo Kendall following her demise.
Kendall, who was a member of the 1963 Cambridge Footlights revue Cambridge Circus alongside Cleese, was 83 years outdated.
Actor Cleese took to Twitter to recollect his good friend and colleague in a collection of tweets.
He started: ‘I woke to listen to of pricey Jo Kendall’s demise She was within the 1963 Cambridge Footlights Revue which took her, Tim Brooke Taylor, Invoice Oddie, David Hatch, Humphrey Barclay and me into Present Enterprise. Jo carried out in over 100 ‘I’m sorry I’ll learn that Once more’ exhibits and the 1948 present…’
He went on to explain her as ‘a really likeable, cheerful, pleasant girl’ and ‘a delight to work with.’
‘I received to know her effectively on the 1964 Tour of New Zealand, and subsequently, our appearances on and off Broadway. She was an integral a part of the ISIRTA group and we did numerous ‘John and Mary’ sketches,’ he added.
