The primate zookeepers at Chessington World of Adventures have introduced the arrival of a child Western lowland gorilla.
Presently and not using a title, the lovable new arrival was born within the early hours of Sunday April 24, and is being intently monitored by the workforce.
The newborn is staying near their mom and slowly being launched to the remainder of the troop.
Born to mom, Shanga, and father, Damisi, the newborn primate will likely be becoming a member of the present eight robust troop of Western lowland gorillas at Chessington’s Zoo.
In footage taken three days after the beginning, the newborn may be seen holding onto their mom tightly whereas surveying their new environment.
As is typical inside the species, over the approaching weeks the newborn will likely be handed round between completely different members of the troop. Doing this enables every gorilla to familiarise themselves with the brand new child.
