Older brother of Sacramento massacre suspect arrested after shooting left 6 dead and 12 injured

A second man has been arrested for his alleged involvement within the lethal mass capturing that left six folks useless and 12 others injured in a well-liked nightlife part of downtown Sacramento on Sunday.

Smiley Martin, 27, was arrested Monday, shortly after his 26-year-old brother Dandrae Martin was taken into custody.

Smiley was ‘positioned on the scene with severe accidents from gunfire,’ the Sacramento Police Division mentioned in an announcement. He was taken to an space hospital and ‘shortly recognized as an individual of curiosity.’

The elder brother will likely be held below police supervision on the hospital till he recovers from his accidents, which authorities say are ‘severe.’

He will likely be booked for possession of a firearm by a prohibited particular person and possession of a machine gun as soon as his care is full.

The primary suspect, Dandrae, was booked for assault with a firearm and for being a prohibited particular person in possession of a firearm.

Neither of the brothers has been charged with homicide or manslaughter.
