The 64-year-old actor revealed the information in an announcement shared on Instagram as he hailed Carol as a ‘fighter’ who taught him about ‘second acts’ in life.
He stated: ‘My mom taught me about second acts. And third ones, too. She spent the final 25 years of her life as a fighter and a champion for the trigger to which she devoted a lot power. We're all enormously happy with her accomplishments.’
