‘As of the night of April 27 2022, in an abrupt change of place to her pleaded case because the outset, Mrs Vardy seems now to simply accept Mrs Rooney’s case: that Caroline Watt, Mrs Vardy’s shut buddy and PR, was the conduit by which tales from the defendant’s personal Instagram account have been leaked to The Solar by way of her entry through Rebekah Vardy’s account.’
Nonetheless, Hugh Tomlinson QC, for Vardy, advised the courtroom that his consumer’s new witness assertion didn't include ‘any change no matter within the pleaded case’.
A judgment on the trial is anticipated at a later date.
