Accused Buffalo shooter Payton Gendron was hospitalized and underwent a psychological well being analysis in 2021 after he threatened to shoot his highschool classmates.

The 18-year-old accused of killing 10 individuals and wounding three others at a Tops grocery store in Buffalo on Saturday was investigated by state police final yr after making threatening feedback to classmates, Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia stated.

‘A college official reported that this very troubled younger man had made statements indicating that he wished to do a taking pictures, both at a commencement ceremony, or someday after,’ a authorities official instructed The Buffalo Information.

Following their investigation into Gendron, he was referred for a psychological well being analysis and counseling, the official stated.

A racist and hate-filled, 180-page manifesto, allegedly penned by the teenager, has circulated on social media within the wake of the lethal taking pictures, which authorities are investigating as a racially motivated hate crime.
