British tourist dies after falling off cannon he was balancing on

Tragedy struck when a British vacationer plunged to his dying whereas ‘scaling a cannon’ in a city in Spain.

The person, 23, landed on rocks after falling in Sitges, southwest of Barcelona, within the early hours of Tuesday morning.

He was pulled out of the water by a passer-by and one of many two folks he was with.

However nothing may very well be carried out to avoid wasting him and he was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

It’s believed he misplaced his steadiness and the incident is being handled as an accident.

A spokesman for the Mossos d’Esquadra regional police drive mentioned: ‘He seems to have fallen from a duplicate cannon in entrance of a church by the ocean overlooking rocks that are there to guard the ocean wall and landed on the rocks as he fell.

An investigation has been launched and an post-mortem will happen.

There isn't any proof at this stage pointing to a criminal offense, officers added.
