Sports stars from Rio Ferdinand to Moeen Ali to Mark Selby awarded in Queen’s Birthday Honours List

The Queen’s Birthday Honours Checklist has been revealed and, as ever, there have been a spread of sports activities stars hailed for companies to their chosen disciplines.

It isn't simply sports activities stars, with Clare Balding and Tracey Sofa awarded CBEs for companies to broadcasting and public service respectively because of their connection to sport.

Footballers like Rio Ferdinand, Gareth Bale and Luter Blissett will choose up medals, whereas all the things from snooker, to curling to trampolining have additionally been recognised.
