Leaked footage shows police holding back for 77 minutes during gunman’s rampage

Leaked video footage from the Uvalde college mass capturing reveals law enforcement officials stood again for greater than an hour because the gunman sprayed bullets into school rooms full of kids.

The clip begins with Salvador Ramos, 18, crashing his truck exterior Robb Elementary Faculty the morning of Could 24, earlier than strolling into the constructing with an AR-15.

Officers had introduced that the video can be launched this coming Monday. On Tuesday, Rep Dustin Burrows, who's chairman of the Texas Home panel investigating the bloodbath, stated it might be launched a day earlier, on Sunday, after being proven to the Uvalde neighborhood.

Burrows, Texas Governor Greg Abbott and most of the victims’ households had known as for the video to be launched.

The Statesman stated it printed an edited model of the 77-minute video earlier than it was set to be launched with a view to present how the regulation enforcement response unfolded.
