Flames and smoke spewed from beneath a Spirit Airways aircraft after it landed, terrifying passengers on board.
A video recorded by a passenger on one other aircraft confirmed Spirit Airways flight 383 sitting on the tarmac at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Worldwide Airport on Sunday morning with flashes of flames and thick grey smoke billowing out.
Spirit Airways stated that a brake overheated whereas touchdown round 9.25am, which triggered a small fireplace.
