Rachel Stevens has revealed she and her husband Alex Bourne have made the ‘tough choice’ to finish their marriage.
The previous S Membership 7 star, 44, took to her Instagram story to share the information together with her followers, writing: ‘I simply wished to share with you all that after time and consideration the tough choice has been made for Alex and I to separate.
‘Whereas we're not companions in marriage, we are going to stay companions in parenthood to our lovely women and proceed with love and respect for one another.
‘I really feel so extremely grateful for the life we constructed collectively and can now proceed to be targeted on shifting ahead united as a household.’
Rachel and Alex have been as a consequence of rejoice their thirteenth wedding ceremony anniversary, having married at Claridge’s in London in August 2009.
The couple had been childhood sweethearts however reunited later in life and share two youngsters, 11-year-old Amelie and Minnie, eight.
Rachel not too long ago revealed on Roxie Nafousi’s The Moments That Made Me podcast: ‘We have been childhood sweethearts. We went out with one another after we have been 12, we met at youth membership and I used to be besotted with him!
‘We went out for most likely about 4 weeks and once you’re that age that was a very very long time!’
She added: ‘We then went on dates once more after we have been like 16 after which once more after we have been 18 after which we parted methods, you already know, clearly I went off and did my factor he went off and did his factor.
‘Years and years later, I used to be in Selfridges randomly and he walked in and we ran into one another. We have been each in our late 20s and weirdly he stated as he was strolling in, “I do know I’m going to see you,” he knew he was going to see me…’
The couple’s wedding ceremony had been attended by her S Membership 7 bandmates Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole and Tina Barrett, and the couple walked down the aisle to the band’s hit By no means Had A Dream Come True.
