Tennis star Ajla Tomljanovic reveals thoughts on ex-boyfriend Nick Kyrgios’ assault charge involving Chiara Passari

Nick Kyrgios’ ex-girlfriend and fellow tennis star Ajla Tomljanovic has weighed in on the Wimbledon semi-finalist’s assault cost on fellow ex Chiara Passari.

Kyrgios, who faces Rafael Nadal for a spot within the males’s singles remaining on Friday, was charged with frequent assault of his ex-girlfriend Passari on Tuesday and is because of face court docket in Australia in August.

Talking in her post-match press convention after Tomljanovic misplaced to Elena Rybakina within the Wimbledon quarter-finals on Wednesday, she was requested about her romantic experiences with Kyrgios.

‘You had been in a relationship with Nick Kyrgios for a while,’ requested a journalist. ‘You’re conscious of the allegations which were made, investigated by the police in Australia. What was your expertise of being in a relationship with him?’

Tomljanovic replied: ‘I’m undoubtedly in opposition to home violence. I hope it will get resolved. However yeah, I imply I haven’t had that have with him.’

She later took to social media to criticise the journalist, posting: ‘Fairly disappointing that after nearly two hours of taking part in my quarter-final that that was the primary query the journalist selected to ask me.
