50g flaked almonds
6 unripe apricots, halved and stoned

For the koftes
500g lamb mince
1 small white onion, very finely chopped
25g nice breadcrumbs
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp coriander
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp floor cinnamon
⅓ tsp chilli powder, or extra to style
