Dev Patel reportedly witnessed a stabbing in Adelaide, Australia.

The Lion actor was pictured chatting with police in Adelaide after a girl allegedly stabbed a person within the chest exterior a petroleum station at 8:45pm on Monday night time.

Dev is considered spending time in Australia along with his girlfriend Tilda Cobham-Hervey, who he met in 2016 on the set of the 2018 movie Lodge Mumbai.

Police had been referred to as to the scene on Monday after reviews of a person and girl preventing on the street in Adelaide. Witnesses tried to interrupt up the battle.

An announcement from South Australia Police reads: ‘A lady has been arrested following a stabbing incident within the CBD [Central Business District] final night time.

‘About 8.45pm on Monday 1 August, police had been referred to as to Gouger Avenue after reviews of a person and girl preventing on the street. The couple continued preventing inside a close-by service station the place witnesses tried to interrupt up the battle.

‘The girl then allegedly stabbed the person within the chest. A 32-year-old man from Glengowrie was handled on the scene by ambulance officers earlier than being taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. His accidents will not be thought of life-threatening.

‘Police attended and arrested the girl. The pair are recognized to one another, and this isn't a random incident.

‘A 34-year-old girl from Park Holme was charged with aggravated assault inflicting hurt. She has been refused bail and can seem within the Adelaide Magistrates Courtroom right now.’

Dev’s girlfriend Tilda is from Adelaide and the pair are mentioned to have relocated there after residing in Los Angeles collectively.

Final 12 months it was reported that the pair would spend ‘5 months’ in Australia, though it appears they could have stayed longer than deliberate.

Apart from Lodge Mumbai, which she appeared in with Dev, Tilda is understood for starring as Helen Reddy within the 2019 biopic I Am Lady.

Dev is understood for roles from Skins to Slumdog Millionaire and The Finest Unique Marigold Lodge, and made his directorial debut for upcoming movie Monkey Man.
