A person has been arrested on suspicion of tried homicide after driving a van into a gaggle of individuals.
Eyewitnesses noticed the car hurtling in the direction of pedestrians in Bolton, Larger Manchester, at round 1.40am this morning.
Police imagine the incident adopted an earlier ‘home associated incident’ and that the driving force had been in an ‘altercation’ with the targets.
Miraculously, nobody was injured, and officers arrested a 27-year-old man on the scene.
Detective Inspector Stuart Woodhead mentioned: ‘Fortunately nobody was severely harm throughout this incident.

‘However the end result may have been very totally different, therefore why we've arrested the suspect on suspicion of tried homicide.
‘Following enquiries we imagine this to have been a home associated incident with the suspect believed to have been driving into a gaggle of people that he was concerned in an altercation with.
‘The suspect stays in custody for questioning and a scene will stay in place on Market Road as we speak whereas our investigation continues.’
