Hundreds attend funeral for ‘rising star’ Ashley Dale after she was shot in her garden

A younger council employee shot lifeless in her personal backyard was laid to relaxation yesterday, with a whole bunch gathering at Liverpool Cathedral for her funeral.

Ashley Dale, 28, is believed to have been killed by mistake on August 21, with police believing she was not the meant goal.

On the day of her funeral, extra tributes have been paid to ‘rising star’ Ashley, who had simply been promoted at her work as an environmental well being officer.

Merseyside’s Police Commissioner Emily Spurrell stated: “My coronary heart goes out to the household, associates and family members of Ashley Dale as they lay her to relaxation right now. Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences on this tough day.’

Beforehand, Chief of Knowsley Council, Councillor Graham Morgan stated: ‘The council misplaced a rising star when she was tragically and senselessly killed.’

He added: ‘Myself and Councillor Powell have met with Ashley’s crew and it goes with out saying they're completely devastated by her loss. Ashley had been concerned in supporting many elected members, all of whom have commented on how positively she approached her work and the way very supportive she was.’

Miss Dale’s household described her as a ‘arduous working younger girl’ in an announcement issued through Merseyside police after her demise.

They stated: ‘Ashley, our woman – our shining mild. Our hearts are damaged into 1,000,000 items. Ashley was a tough working younger girl, who had her whole life forward of her.

‘She had simply been promoted at her job with Knowsley Council. She had a level and so many plans for her vibrant future that had solely simply begun. Her snort, smile and vitality was infectious in any room.
