Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo charged by FA over smashing phone out of supporter’s hand

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has been charged with ‘improper and/or violent’ conduct following the incident the place he appeared to knock a cell phone out of a supporter’s hand.

The incident occurred following United’s 1-0 defeat at Goodison Park final April.

Footage shared on social media confirmed the 37-year-old showing to smash a cellphone out of a younger fan’s hand as he left the pitch and headed in direction of the tunnel.

Ronaldo was cautioned by police relating to the incident in August and later issued an apology to 14- year-old Jacob Harding on his Instagram account, admitting his feelings after such a harmful consequence had bought the higher of him.
