Two youngsters, aged 15 and 16, have been charged with the homicide of Khayri McLean.

The schoolboy was stabbed exterior the doorway of North Huddersfield Belief Faculty on Wednesday.

In an announcement, West Yorkshire Police mentioned: ‘Detectives investigating the loss of life of a 15-year-old boy in Huddersfield have charged two males with homicide.

‘Each males, who're 15 and 16 and from Huddersfield, have additionally been charged with possession of a bladed article.

‘Each have been remanded in custody to seem earlier than Leeds magistrates tomorrow.

‘The fees relate to the loss of life of Khayri McLean, who died after he was stabbed in Woodhouse Hill, Huddersfield, final Wednesday.’

Khayri’s girlfriend, Shyana James, 16, had been talking with him on Snapchat moments earlier than he died.

Earlier this week, she mentioned: ‘He would drop something for you and he’d do completely something for anybody.

‘He was going residence to get modified then he was going to return to mine.

‘He was the love of my life. He was simply the most effective individual I knew.’
