
A 15-year-old boy has been taken to hospital following a stabbing in Torquay this night, with one other teenager arrested.
The sufferer was rushed to Torbay Normal Hospital after police have been referred to as at round 6.08pm to the seaside resort city in Devon.
The scene on Carlton Highway has been cordoned off and the highway closed whereas an investigation takes place.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police mentioned: ‘We attended that location [Carlton Road] at 6.08pm this night after a report of a younger male being stabbed at that location.
‘A 15-year previous male has gone to Torbay District Hospital.
‘The extent of accidents aren't identified.
‘A 16-year previous male is in police custody in relation to this incident.’
They mentioned they weren't searching for another suspects.
Visitors monitoring service Inrix experiences: ‘Carlton Highway in each instructions closed attributable to police incident from Windsor Highway to Kenwyn Highway.
‘Visitors is coping effectively. Highway closed round 6..40pm.’
