Woman dies after huge fire rips through London home

A lady who was rescued from a home hearth in London has died of her accidents.

Half of the house, on Alderwood Highway in Eltham, was destroyed within the blaze.

Firefighters had rushed to the scene and rescued the girl by way of an inner staircase.

A person and a baby had managed to flee the home collectively earlier than the arrival of emergency providers.

This night, the London Hearth Brigade stated in a press release: ‘They had been all taken to hospital, the place the girl sadly later died.

‘The Brigade was referred to as at 0437 and the hearth was beneath management by 0601. Six hearth engines and round 40 firefighters from Eltham, Sidcup, Lee Inexperienced, Bexley and Plumstead hearth stations attended the scene.

‘The reason for the hearth is beneath investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.’
