A lady who made ten false rape claims towards two males, triggering 60 strains of investigation, has been jailed.

Cathy Richardson was slammed by Essex Police for perverting the course of justice, losing their time, and doing a ‘disservice’ to actual victims of sexual crimes.

The 35-year-old made a sequence of allegations towards the boys between January and Might 2021.

These led to dozens of investigations and one man being arrested and subjected to a forensic examination.
