Low drummer and vocalist Mimi Parker dies aged 55 following battle with ovarian cancer

Mimi Parker was from Minnesota; she spent her childhood within the Bemidji space and moved to Duluth for faculty.

Parker first performed drums in her highschool marching band, and commenced courting her future husband Sparkhawk throughout junior highschool, based on NPR.

Sparkhawk and Parker shaped Low in 1993 with authentic bassist John Nichols.

The band, which featured different rotating members through the years, grew to become a family identify within the rock sub-genre.
