An airline floor crew employee has died after he was ‘ingested into the engine’ of an American Airways airplane in Alabama.

The US Nationwide Transportation Security Board mentioned the employee was killed whereas the plane’s engine was working at Montgomery Regional Airport on Saturday, Insider studies.

The company has opened an investigation into the loss of life, saying ‘a preliminary report is predicted in two to a few weeks’.

Airport bosses mentioned the accident occurred round 3pm on Saturday, and the employee was employed by Piedmont Airways, a subsidiary of the American Airways Group.
