Ferris wheel bursts into flames with 62 people trapped in pods

Greater than 60 folks have been rescued after a US Ferris wheel erupted in a bathe of flames and sparks on New Yr’s Eve.

He wrote: ‘Lights have been seen within the automobiles for a short while, then an enormous bathe of sparks flew from the wheel.

‘Energy was then misplaced to virtually the entire automobiles, large response from the hearth division.’

Pryor recounted the hearth service scaling The Wheel to rescue the trapped riders.

One carriage was flashing an SOS sign earlier than the workforce reached them.

He added drones and helicopters hovered within the sky across the journey.

The park stated in an announcement: ‘The Wheel misplaced energy Saturday night time and we’re working with the Orange County Fireplace Division to soundly evacuate company.’
