Human remains found in pond after ‘suspicious object’ spotted in water

Human stays have been discovered by cops in a pond Essex.

They had been discovered at Oakwood Pond, off Fourth Avenue in Harlow, shortly earlier than 2pm on Saturday.

Essex Police mentioned they obtained studies of a suspicious object within the water.

Detective chief inspector, Antony Alcock, mentioned officers had been within the ‘actually early phases of this investigation’ and had been attempting to piece collectively what occurred.

‘I perceive that that is regarding information for native residents and our officers are prone to stay within the space for the following few days to proceed enquiries,’ he mentioned.

‘We ask that the general public respect the cordons in place and we will probably be updating the general public because the investigation develops.’
