What it is: A new two-in-one face moisturizer and broad-spectrum sunscreen product from the brand Belif.

The lightweight cream product features a sun protection factor of 50, offering both UVA and UVB protection.

Billed as being suitable for normal to oily skin types, the moisturizer-sunscreen formula features ingredients such as marigold extract to reduce oxidative stress caused by UV exposure, along with woodbine, to boost overall antioxidant effects.

What we say: Our tester was intrigued by the offer of a face moisturizer and sunscreen in one easy product.

She tried the cream, which comes in an easy squeeze tube for mess-free application, both on its own and overtop of a moisturizer on days when her skin felt particularly thirsty and was pleased with how the product wore. The lightweight cream gave skin a nice, dewy look and had a minimal white cast on a fair-to-medium skin tone.

Sunscreen can sometimes be forgotten, or avoided altogether, due to a reluctance to add yet another product into one’s routine. But this two-in-one option makes including a sunscreen product in one’s skin-care lineup a blissfully easy task.
