“May the fourth be with you” can be heard by Star Wars fans annually on May 4th — Star Wars Day. The holiday is celebrated on this date because it sounds like the iconic quote “may the force be with you,” which is said by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
It’s hard to pinpoint exactly when and where Star Wars Day began, but according to National Day, the first official celebration took place in 2011 in Toronto. Disney has officially celebrated the holiday since it acquired Lucasfilm Productions in 2012.
Disney and Star Wars are no strangers to merchandise, and of course, not all are created equally — but I have a very good feeling about these. None of which is out-geeked by the May The (F=m*dv/dt) Be with You T-shirt.
