What it is: A blush addition to the European affordable beauty brand’s Pure Nude family.
The Pure Nude Baked Blush features a “silky” finish and a highly pigmented baked texture to provide a bold pop of colour and a “healthy glow” to cheeks — and any other area the makeup product is applied. The collection, which includes eight shades, is billed as being easily blend-able and lightweight on skin.
The made-in-Italy blush formula is free of alcohol, fragrance and oil. It’s also vegan-friendly and made without gluten or paraben.
What we say: We love an affordable beauty product that punches well above its weight.
This baked blush formula does just that. The product is super-pigmented, providing a bold swath of colour with one sweep. Our testers found the formula was easy to sweep onto cheeks and over the bridge of the nose to give skin a nice pop. For a bolder hit of colour, a few more passes were applied. Plus, the lightweight powder blends nicely, they report.
Our testers also got a bit playful with application, blending the blush up closer to the eyes, and even onto the lids, for an on-trend monochromatic makeup look. The selection of shades ensures most blush needs are met — offering a soft pink to a punchier dark coral.
