Free public transit is a game changer in so many ways

As the election for mayor is coming in June, for a minimal cost, can we add non-binding referendum questions to the ballots?

We could ask politicians and the public to propose the questions. A committee can be set up to consider and recommend which questions could be included.

The question I would ask:

Should we pay for free public transit by giving up some services to be agreed by council?

Free public transit is a game changer in so many ways. Environmental, sustainability, convenience, and cost in a world of rising costs. What would you give up for this service?
