NBA parlay picks March 20: Bet on Memphis at home and Warriors on the road

Jaren Jackson Jr. is stepping up for the Grizzlies in Ja Morant's absence.

The NBA’s six-game schedule on Monday has created the opportunity for a three-leg parlay with a +297 payout.

The pregame narrative: The Memphis Grizzlies are likely to win despite the absence of Ja Morant, the Golden State Warriors have a gift from the schedule makers and the Sacramento Kings should have another productive day filling the bucket.

Check out our NBA parlay picks for March 20.

NBA parlay picks

Parlay: Grizzlies moneyline + Warriors moneyline + Kings over 122.5 points (+297)

Grizzlies moneyline (-129): Betting on Memphis without Morant may feel daunting — especially against a solid Dallas Mavericks squad — but the Grizzlies have held their own without their superstar.

Memphis is 5-3 since the 23-year-old’s suspension began and hasn’t dropped a game at home. As a result, the Grizzlies have built their record at FedExForum to an impressive 29-5 — and they’re hosting a team with a 14-21 road record on Monday.

This team has also proven itself against the Mavericks twice in that eight-game span with two victories by a total of 18 points. We see no reason to believe the Grizzlies can’t get it done again, especially with Luka Doncic (hasn’t played since March 8) and Kyrie Irving both questionable.

Other parlay legs

Warriors moneyline (-435): The Warriors’ troubles on the road are well-documented, but we still like their moneyline as the safest leg of this parlay.

That’s because they’re facing the Western Conference-worst Houston Rockets, who sport a 12-25 home record. The Rockets aren’t just bad, they’re likely to be tired, too, as they’re playing on the second leg of a back-to-back — a situation where they have a 2-9 record this season.

In some cases, it would be worth worrying if the Warriors would sleepwalk against an inferior opponent, but Golden State is fighting for its playoff life. A loss in this one would be disastrous as the team is just one game ahead of the 11th-place Utah Jazz.

We expect the Warriors to take care of business in one of the most winnable games left on their schedule.

Kings over 122.5 (-121): Sacramento’s offence has been nothing short of remarkable this season, and it’s been even better lately.

The Kings have averaged 128.1 points in their last 13 games, hitting this over 10 times.

They should be able to keep finding offensive success against a Jazz team with the league’s 22nd-ranked scoring defence. Utah is also dealing with injury problems.

Both of their starting guards will be out and emerging star Lauri Markkanen could be limited with a back issue.

Sacramento is much healthier and should be able to put up an impressive point total against a poor defensive team.
