Why we love it: Toronto-headquartered brand Canada Goose is getting into the sneaker game with a new footwear design.
The company, best known for its winter outerwear styles including puffer jackets and arctic parkas, first introduced footwear into its range in 2021. The new sneaker style, dubbed the Glacier Trail, builds on that category offering, with “comfort, protection and stability” for the “modern explorer,” according to a news release.
The trail sneaker design features functional elements such as a waterproof-yet-breathable HDry interior membrane, heavy tread, along with a stabilized heel for added grip on uneven terrain. Lacing in a 360-degree “system” along with a “stretch collar” add additional support to the style. The Glacier Trail sneaker is being released in both a low and a high top version.
Made from leather and suede materials, the unisex footwear style is available in black, tan and white, along with a few seasonal shades including Sundial Orange and Ozone Blue.
