Baby injured after youths hurled ‘moss and dirt’ from rooftop

A 3-month-old child has been harm after being hit with a ‘massive clump of moss and filth’.

Police in Horsham, West Sussex are investigating following the incident, which passed off on Monday.

Officers say three youths – all male – had climbed scaffolding to entry a roof on West Avenue within the city centre.

The newborn and its household had been passing beneath the group at round 6.30pm.

Sussex Police stated in a press release: ‘It's alleged that the sufferer was hit with a big clump of moss and filth from a roof on West Avenue at about 6.30pm on Monday September 19.

‘A report was obtained stating that three youths have been seen to achieve the roof by climbing scaffolding after which throwing moss all the way down to the general public strolling beneath.

‘Fortunately, the infant didn't maintain any critical accidents.’

After the infant was hit, the three boys have been seen working from the world on foot within the route of Swan Stroll.

The primary suspect has been described as between 10 and 12-years-old, with blond hair, sporting a gray tracksuit.

The second suspect is described as a 14-year-old boy, with brief again and sides hair. 

Lastly, the third suspect is described as a boy aged between 10 and 14 with brief hair, sporting a black sports activities shirt and lengthy black trousers.
